The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

OMG...it was completely amazing! I'm at a loss of words to describe how great it was. I think reading the book first made it even better, you know? Okay so lets recap:

We got to the theater a little after 11:00pm, which we should have gotten there earlier because the theater was packed. We did actually find some decent seat, though. We ended up sitting next to this woman with three teenage girls. Wow, were they annoying. At one point, one of the girls slobbered all over herself and had to go to the bathroom...in order to get to the bathroom, she has to pass by me...I swear I thought she was going to dribble her slobber on me. Okay, so then they come back and they are talking about dermetology...why this is, I don't know. The girl that slobbered everywhere, decides to almost yell at the top of her lungs that her dad let the dermetologist cut a mole off her back!! Like we want to hear that crap. So, we are patiently...well kind of patiently...okay so very impatiently waiting for the movie start and the freakin' screen freezes up. So, slobber girls says, and I quote, "Maybe it's the rain." Is she serious? OMG, I wanted to slap her...and that is very hard to make me wanna do something like that.

So, the movie was so awesome...I'm ready to see it again. I honestly cannot wait to own the dvd and buy the shirts, jewelry, bags...whatever they decide to sell at Wal-Mart. I'm about to start reading Breaking Dawn, but I'm also reading Stephanie Myer's Midnight Sun...it's Twilight, except from Edward's perspective. You can find it on her website....it's not finished yet, but it will get published one day.

Well, I'm off and up to get some cleaning done and then hopefully tan by the pool. Bye for now.

Eclipse

Tonight is the night. Eclipse at 12:01am with my wonderful husband. I am so glad that he is going with me, even though he hates it. He is so amaizng. I love him sooo much. I am so excited about tonight. I need to drive to Wal-Mart and see about getting an Eclipse shirt, if Anthony won't kill me for spending money lol. I doubt he will care. I also need to find a Half Price Books store to take a couple books there so I can get Breaking Dawn and start reading it NOW. I was so sad when I finished Eclipse because it was over. I could read those books forever...they never have to end. It makes me even sadder to know that after Breaking Dawn...that's it...no more Twilight Saga...how devestating is that?

I am glad that I have no house cleaning to do today. I did it all yesterday, so today as once again been a really lazy day. I just don't know what to do with myself when I don't have the girls here. They are supposed to stay with MawMaw until Friday, but I don't know. I will probably want them back sooner than that. If it wasn't for going to see Eclipse tonight, I would be getting them today, but then I wouldn't have a babysitter for us to go, so I would end up having to go by myself. That would be awkward.

Well, I think I am going to go to Wal-Mart now and Half Price Books then I will go lay out by the pool and maybe go do some exercising in the gym. But, mostly, I just really want a tan. Bye for now.

Remember Me

So, today was very lazy. The girls are with MawMaw, so I got to relax all day. I did clean and do some laundry, so I was productive. Last night, Anthony and I watched Shutter Island. It was so not what I thought it was going to be, but it was still a really good movie. I love Leonardo DiCaprio. He is an amazing actor. I remember the first time I ever saw him in a movie, was What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I really thought that he was mentally challenged. He did such a good job with his role. One of today's best actors.

Today, I took time out to watch a movie that I've been wanting to see since I saw the previews. Remember Me with Robert Pattinson. It was such a wonderful movie. Great love story, bringing family together, sticking close to friends, and not giving up. I cried through the whole movie almost, especially the end. I just couldn't believe how it ended. It boggles my mind and it makes me sad at the same time. I am still in utter shock that they thought it was a good way to end this movie. But, there is nothing I can do about it, except watch it again...and believe me, I will.

We just finished watching Step Brothers, which is an all-time favorite of mine. Anthony is already passed out and I'm missing my girls really bad. I'm miss laying them down for bad and Natalie doing whatever she can to keep herself awake. I miss Miley crying in the middle of the night and crawling into our room for me to hold her. I miss Natalie making her way into our room some time during the night and getting in bed with me. I miss being completely uncomfortable trying to sleep between Miley and Natalie and waking up with my back aching and my shoulders sore. I miss not getting to sleep past 7:30am because Miley is up for the day and ready to go. I miss doing schoolwork with Natalie and then painting afterwards. I miss cuddling up on the couch with Natalie and watching New Moon because she loves Edward. I miss all of that. That's what being a mother is about. It's about doing everything all for your kids. It's no longer about you anymore...only those precious little girls that need me and need their daddy. I love them so much. Like all kids, they can push your buttons and drive insande and leave you at the end of the day wanting to pull your hair out, but they are so special and want you to love them and they love you no matter what. Boy, I think I'm going to cry now. I'm going to bed so I can get some rest and dream about my babies. I love you Natalie and Miley..."Bye-o-Bye, Bye-o-baby-bye...daddy's gone a huntin' to get a little rabbit skin, to wrap his little babies in." Goodnight, girls.

Eclipse Promo Event

OMG, last night was amazing. I had a blast. I am so glad that I went. Shelby and Krysteena came to pick me up. Natalie was sad because she couldn't go, but I needed a mommy's night out. We get to Dallas and we are by the American Airlines Center and we are having the hardest time finding a place to park. All the parking near the AAC was $20-$30 and there was no way we were going to pay that. So we went a little further into downtown and found a Wells Fargo parking lot for $4...awesome!! But, the walk back to AAC, however, was not quite as amazing....it was scorching hot. I sweated a pool on my back, I swear. But, we finally made it and we were still alive. We waited in some long lines to get some free stuff. Altogether, I got every single different kind of movie poster, an eclipse film strip, some buttons, an Eclipse pen, bracelets, and a book mark. We took some awesome pictures, too. There were a couple of cast members there for a meet and greet, but we missed that because we thought it was afterwards, but it was before : (. It was Jodelle Ferland, who plays Bree Tanner, and Tyson Houseman, who plays Quil. I got some okay pictures of them, though. After they left, they showed some exclusive footage of Eclipse and then they showed New Moon out on the big screen. It was great. Around halfway into the movie, I started french braiding Shelby's hair, but it was unsuccessful lol. I was still burning up, even at 11pm...that is redonculous!! After the movie, we packed up our stuff and headed back to the car. That journey was not as bad as it was on the way in. We started driving home, but Shelby went the wrong way, so we had to turn around. Then we had to stop for gas, and as we were leaving, Shelby realized she couldn't find her wallet, so we pulled on the side of the road...freaky....and searched for it, hoping she didn't lose it at the gas station. She didn't. We ended up finding it. They dropped me off around midnight. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to show Anthony what I got. It wasn't really interested lol. Then, I just stayed up until 1:30am reading Eclipse so I can finish it before Tuesday. Almost done!!

Today, MawMaw is picking up Natalie and Miley. What will I do with myself for three days? For starters, after they leave, I am going to take a nap because I am sooo tired. Then, I'm going to go get a tan by the pool and possibly work out. Won't that be fun! I am going to really start working on my goal and try to achieve it by Christmas...I think I can do it.

Well, I'm off...going to go watch New Moon with Natalie since she didn't get to go last night. I promised I would watch it with her. Bye for now.

Bad News

So....I was just informed that Angela cannot come stay with me to go see Eclipse...I'm sad. But, Anthony is going to take her place and go with me, even though he thinks that it is extremely stupid. That really means a lot to me, that he would do something he hates just to make me happy with something I love. I am going to owe him one lol.

Good news, though, is that at American Airlines Center there is this little party thing for the premier of Eclipse and they are going to be showing Twilight and New Moon there. There is going to be a red carpet and some people from Eclipse will be there, as well. I am going to go with my sister and I may take my oldest daughter, but not sure yet. It's from 4pm to midnight...this is going to be a long night, but sooo worth it. I can't wait. Thank you Anthony for watching Miley so I can go do this.

Well, gotta go finish cleaning before my sister gets here...yay!!!

Good Morning

Today started out good. When I woke up, my back didn't hurt like it normally does. Only a little bit today. I didn't have a headache like I usually do, so today has started out awesome. Miley and Natalie are watching Ice Age. Natalie is loosing her patience waiting to go to MawMaw's. She keeps asking like every five minutes, "Can I got to MawMaw's now?" It's funny. Last night she started telling some crazy stories. She told me she had to go to the school to pick up her two kids and then try to go find her husband at his work because she lost him. It was hilarious. She sounded so grownup.

I may take them swimming today, I don't know for sure yet. It's going to be a warm day and swimming always tires them out. But, I do need to do some laundry before I do anything else. I despise laundry. I wish it could do itself, but oh well, the job of a stay-at-home mom is never ending. The best part is being able to all the time with my girls that I want. I'm not in any rush to run out the door off to work...I really get to bond with them, and that is the most awesome thing in the world.

My mom should be coming sometime after 3pm to pick me up and take me to my Aunt Becky's house warming party. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I don't get to spend a whole lot of time with my mom's side of the family, so this will nice....and it will be a good thing too. It's nice to just get together with family and chat and have some good laughs...it keeps you close, even if you don't see them often.

I have 6 more chapters to read in Eclipse and I have only four days to do it. Can it be done with my busy schedule coming up? You bet it can. I refuse to see the movie before I finish the book. I will finish it in the theater before the movies starts if I have to. Tuesday night is going to be so awesome. The rest of the week will be awesome as well. Sunday night, Angela will be coming over. Monday we are going to go get some hair dye to do highlights on here...this should be fun because I have never done highlights on anyone...it's going to get messy, I can sense this. Tuesday, we will probably go to Wal-Mart and pick up some Eclipse shirts to wear to the showing. Gotta be ready for it, right. Last year, for New Moon, I didn't wear anything to support it, but this year is going to be different...hopefully...if i don't have the money, I won't spend it, obviously, so we will just have to see. Thank goodness the tickets have already been bought.

Well, Miley is starting to get fussy, so I'm going to go make her a bottle and lay her down. She's been up kinda early, so she is getting really sleepy. She is glaring at me right now...probably thinking "I'm crying, why aren't you picking me up?" Anyway, gotta run, she's super mad now. Bye for now.

Looong Morning

Wow, this has been a looooong morning. I woke up with a headache and very bad cramps. I have a super hard time functioning when I have cramps. Usually, Anthony really helps me out on days like these, but he has a horrible headache as well. Most of the morning we laid in bed watching Hannah Montana on the computer with Natalie. She was really enjoying herself. She loves to watch her and sing "Best of Both Worlds"...I love to watch her do that. Feeling this way, I don't know if we will do any of her school today, but if I start to feel better, then we will. She is getting so good at. She is recognizing patterns really well and she is learning to trace shapes and words. That's a work in progress and is really going to take some time, but she will get it eventually.

Last night around 9:00pm, we took the girls to the pool to swim for a little bit. Miley was loving it. She absolutely loves the water. I bet she is going to be a good swimmer one day. Natalie has gotten a little frightened of the water and I'm not sure why. She used to love it and not be afraid. She would stand on the side of the pool and jump to us or swim in her floaty all by herself, but now she won't. I am working with her on it, though.

You know, we have been having problems with our internet and being able to get online with the PS3, so I called our internet provider and I was on the phone for almost an hour when we got disconnected, so I waited for a phone call back, but never got one. So, I called back and had to sit through all the troubleshooting again....so two hours later, I was told it should work. So, we hung up and tried it again....guess what? It didn't work. So, I called back, once again, but I told this guy that I was NOT sitting through another hour of troubleshooting. Finally, he put in an order to send us a new modem, which will be here on Monday. Plus, since we have been having problems with our modem almost since the day we got it, he gave us a $20 credit towards our next bill, so that will really help us out a lot. I would have liked more of a credit, but I'm not one to argue...I just take what I get.

Tomorrow is Becky's house warming. My mom will be picking me up to go with her. I'm actually really looking forward to it. I can't wait to go. Then, Sunday night will be Natalie's first time to go do Pee Wee Patch. She is going to love it, I just know it. I'm hoping Anthony will end up going with me tomorrow night, too. After church gets out, Angela will be coming home with us, and we will be dropping off Natalie and Miley with MawMaw until probably Wednesday. It's a much needed break for me. And then, of course on Tuesday....ECLIPSE!!! Yay. It is going to be amazing!

Well, I'm going to get out of her. I don't know if we have plans today, but I think Anthony wanted to go to his grandparents house, so I'm going to go wake him up and see if he still feels like going. Bye for now.

Doctor's Visit

So, we went to the doctor for Anthony and they are checking him for diabetes. It does run in his family. He has an unquenchable thirst, he is fatigued, and very irritable lately. I believe that is what is, but he is hoping that it ins't. We go back in a week for all his lab results, so please pray that it isn't diabetes because he is really nervous about that. It was a long visit, but I have to say that I am very proud of Natalie and Miley...they were so well behaved. We were there from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. I thought we were never going to get out of there. I like Dr. Harvey, though, she is super nice and she really seems to care about her patients. She also gave him Advair to help his asthema. He uses his inhaler once a day and she said that is excessive, so this is supposed to keep him from needing to use it so much and also help his snoring lol.

I made a trip to Wal-Mart today to get diapers for Miley, and they were all out of size 3's...what is that? I had to get size 4's but I know they are going to be big on her...oh well. I got her some more babyfood...she loves Ham and Pineapples and Apples and Blueberries. Both of the girls are sleeping right now. Anthony is playing Call of Duty. It's so peaceful right now.

The girls are going to MawMaw's on Sunday night after church, and Angela will be coming home with me. I am going to miss them so much, but at least this will give me a chance to go work out and tan by the pool. Plus, I'll get some much needed uninterrupted sleep. Both of the girls usually end up in bed with us at night, so I don't sleep so well because they both like to sleep on either side of me and I can't get comfortable. Speaking of, although this has nothing to do with what I was just talking about lol, I got a sudden craving for a pickle. Think I'll quit writing and go get me one lol. Bye for now!

A Great Start for this Morning

All I wanted to do this morning was sleep in just a little bit. Normally, I can do this. Natalie is very good about going into her room with Miley and just playing and coming to get me if I'm needed. Well, this morning, she decided that she wanted to be little miss creative and draw me some art...on the walls!!! Thank goodness it was just dry erase marker. It came off very easily with my Gain dry detergent and a sponge on the non-scrubbing side. So, if you ever have this problem, now you know how to get it off your walls. I was so livid with her because it is not like her to do that. The very first time she ever drew on a wall with crayon, she got a spankin' and couldn't use crayons for weeks, and she never did it again after that. She started crying this morning and said she was sorry. I couldn't stay mad long lol. Now, I have to give her a bath because the marker is also all over her legs.

My stepmom and nephew are possibly coming by today. She came by yesterday, and we had a good time. I made fish sticks and mashed potatoes for lunch. It was a lot of fun. I miss getting to spend time with her. I also miss getting to spend time with my mom. Saturday, me and my mom, my step sister, Mary, and my girls are supposed to go to lunch. That will be a fun time. My aunt Becky is having a house warming party that day, too, so if my mom will pick me up and take me and bring me home, I would like to go as well. Her house is beautiful...I will post pictures of it if I get to go. I don't really do a lot of things with my family, mostly because we just don't have the time or the money, but I would like to start making the time to do these things with them.

Later on today, Anthony has a doctor's appointment. I hope it goes well. We are trying to get the doctor to prescribe him time off so he can get a vacation. He has not had one vacation since he started working there three years ago. His time always gets denied. I am so blessed to have a husband that will get up and go to work to take care of his family. I couldn't imagine what it is like to go to work where you have to deal with rude inmates who just love to push your buttons. I love taking care of him when comes home, and knowing that he is coming home to a clean house and having dinner cooked for him. I love him so much.

One more thing before I go. I am having a hard time containing my excitment. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens up Tuesday, June 29, at 12:01am...me and Angela are going together. I cannot wait. It is going to be amazing. I am still reading the book. I have 13 chapters to get through before Tuesday. I believe I can do it.

Oh, and I started my class at Ashford University...all online classes, on Tuesday. It is going really well. I have already finished my assignments for this week. I am going to start on next weeks assignments today. I have to write an argument paper. I'm not sure what it's going to be on, but I think I'm going to write it on Abortion. I am 100% against it and I love stating my opinion on it. I have written many papers for school on abortion. Well, I am going to go now and play some Call of Duty with Anthony and spend some time with the girls. Bye for now.

First Blog

Okay, so I had a blog before, but I never really kept up with it. This time I plan on doing it. I really enjoy writing, and there is never a dull moment in my life, so I will always have something to write about. So, I really hope you enjoy reading about all the wonderful things in my life.

I'm sitting here right now while Anthony plays with Natalie, Miley and Dash (the newest additon to our family, our weenie dog). Dash is 8 weeks old and she is so adorbale. Natalie loves her so much. She carries her everywhere and always wants to take her with us where ever we go. Miley is not quite as fond of her as Natalie is...I am not either. In fact, I really could do without a puppy, but I know that once she gets house broken, it will be much easier to take care of her.

Let me tell you about my family, since after all, this is a new blog. My name is Lauren...I go by LC, I am 24 and a stay-at-home mom. I love being at home with my girls...they are such a blessing to me. I wouldn't want anything different in my life. I didn't know that when I got pregnant with Natalie that I would be ready for kids, but I couldn't imagine life any other way...kids are the most wonderful gifts that could be given to you...God's precious gifts.

I am married to the most amazing man in the world. We met at church when we were 15...I knew there was something different about this boy than all the other boys I have ever met. It was when I was 17 that it hit that I was deeply in love with him. I knew he was the one I was going to marry. We got married on August 17, 2006. It was a very small, intimate wedding. That was the best day of my life, upto that point. We have been married almost 4 years, and been together about 8 years. He is a Corrections Officer for the City of Mansfield. He has been there three years. We just moved back in April to Grand Prairie. We love it here. I want to stay here for awhile...I absolutely loathe moving...lol.

Natalie Brooke was born on December 23, 2006...the same day as her dad, at 4:36am. I was in labor with her for 21 1/2 hours....4 1/2 of those hours were hard labor. I had an epiderhal, so I didn't feel a thing. I was so proud of myself. She was so beautiful. I couldn't believe that I was a mom. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but I didn't really understand the actual meaning of being a mom until it happened. Now, Natalie is 3 1/2 going on 20 lol. She is so funny. She really thinks that she is a grown up. I have recently been working with her in some preschool books and she is doing so good. I am very proud of her. I cannot wait until she is old enough for school, so I can start homeschooling her. I really think she is going to be very smart...she already is, and I will be proud to be her teacher.

Miley Raine was born on September 16, 2009. She just turned 9 months old. She is the complete opposite of Natalie. When Natalie was born, she had blonde hair (really no hair lol) and big brown eyes. Miley has brown hair and greenish-brown eyes. She is crawling, and pulling up on stuff, and sometimes stands all by herself. She has two teeth, on the bottom, and I believe more are about to pop through. She is going to walk very, very soon, I just know it.

My family is so amazing. I love them all so much. I am very excited about posting about them and everything that goes on around here. This will be the perfect opportunity to praise my children for the things they do, and also to vent when I'm about to loose my mind lol. Well, it's about that time to start cooking dinner for two girls and a husband who think they are starving to death, so I better end this here. Goodnight everyone....see y'all tomorrow.
