Job Hunting

Gosh, I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted. Time flies by so fast. A lot has been going on lately, that I just haven't had time to sit down and write. First things first, school is going great. My first two weeks worth of assignments has been graded. I'm making a 90...so proud of myself. My arguement paper on abortion was graded and I got 13.2 points out of 15. My teacher said that I am a very good writer. That makes me feel good. I'm working on my third week of assignments....I have gotten two done and have two more to go. I can't believe I only have two weeks left for this course. I can't wait to see what my next course will be.

Natalie and Miley went to MawMaw's back on Tuesday and I picked up Miley yesterday. Natalie wanted to stay a little longer. Miley is getting two more teeth on the top, now, and MawMaw said she took three steps at her house, but I have yet to see her take any, so I don't know about that. She's not even 10 months old yet. But, I think she will be walking soon...she stands up all by herself without holding on to anything. She is getting big way too fast : (.

My sister had surgery...a hysterectomy, on Wednesday. She made it through the surgery just fine and is at home now. I'm glad everything is okay. Hopefully she won't be in any more pain after having this done.

I'm been looking for jobs since yesterday. It's just time that I start working to help ends meet...at least until Anthony gets his truck paid off. I have sent out over 60 resumes since yesterday, and I have one interview lined up so far on Monday. I hope next week the calls start rolling in. My last resort is going to be waitressing. I used to waitress at Cheddars, and it was fun, not going to lie, but it doesn't bring in enough money. I don't make the greatest tips. I'm hoping for a nice office job. Maybe being in college will help me get a job quicker.

Fourth of July was awesome. We had so much fun out at Anthony's dad's. Natalie had a blast with all the fireworks. We got a really good deal on them too. She was afraid to hold any of the sparklers for awhile, but she finally gave in. I got a really good picture of her with one. It was the only one I could get because it was too dark.

One more thing before I go do laundry...I talked to Anthony and pretty soon we are going to renew our vows. I'm thinking we will do it when we get income tax. It's actually going to be like a real wedding, since I didn't get to have one with all my friends and family. I'm going to go to David's Bridal and get me a dress there. I'm going to ask Krysteena to be my Maid of Honor. It's going to be awesome. I really can't wait.

Well, duty calls. I have 5 hourse to get housework done before Anthony gets home. It's mostly just folding clothes and putting them up and putting up dishes, so it should only take about an hour. I'll write again soon. Bye for now.

Writing

So, when Anthony and I went to see Eclipse, I brought up about how much money Stephenie Meyer had made writing them. We started talking somemore about it, and I said something about me writing. Of course, he said that you have to have skill to writing...he compared it to him playing hockey just because he can ice skate. Anyways, yesterday I went down to the pool to tan, and I was reading Breaking Dawn. After awhile, I put the book down, and not long after, thoughts and ideas just started flowing through my head. I had to hurry up and get back home so I could start writing. I don't want to post my work to the internet, but if you are somewhat interested in it, let me know and I can e-mail a piece of it. I'm about to get started on somemore.

Today will be a long day...I can feel it. Anthony has a doctor appointment at 2:00pm and then we have to go grocery shopping. Good thing cause I need some Dr. Peppers lol. I want to go pick up the girls today, but I know they are just having so much fun with MawMaw. We will see. I still have some organizing to do in their room, which was the purpose of them going over there. Anyway, I'm going to go write before we have to leave and go get things done today. Bye for now.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

OMG...it was completely amazing! I'm at a loss of words to describe how great it was. I think reading the book first made it even better, you know? Okay so lets recap:

We got to the theater a little after 11:00pm, which we should have gotten there earlier because the theater was packed. We did actually find some decent seat, though. We ended up sitting next to this woman with three teenage girls. Wow, were they annoying. At one point, one of the girls slobbered all over herself and had to go to the bathroom...in order to get to the bathroom, she has to pass by me...I swear I thought she was going to dribble her slobber on me. Okay, so then they come back and they are talking about dermetology...why this is, I don't know. The girl that slobbered everywhere, decides to almost yell at the top of her lungs that her dad let the dermetologist cut a mole off her back!! Like we want to hear that crap. So, we are patiently...well kind of patiently...okay so very impatiently waiting for the movie start and the freakin' screen freezes up. So, slobber girls says, and I quote, "Maybe it's the rain." Is she serious? OMG, I wanted to slap her...and that is very hard to make me wanna do something like that.

So, the movie was so awesome...I'm ready to see it again. I honestly cannot wait to own the dvd and buy the shirts, jewelry, bags...whatever they decide to sell at Wal-Mart. I'm about to start reading Breaking Dawn, but I'm also reading Stephanie Myer's Midnight Sun...it's Twilight, except from Edward's perspective. You can find it on her website....it's not finished yet, but it will get published one day.

Well, I'm off and up to get some cleaning done and then hopefully tan by the pool. Bye for now.

Eclipse

Tonight is the night. Eclipse at 12:01am with my wonderful husband. I am so glad that he is going with me, even though he hates it. He is so amaizng. I love him sooo much. I am so excited about tonight. I need to drive to Wal-Mart and see about getting an Eclipse shirt, if Anthony won't kill me for spending money lol. I doubt he will care. I also need to find a Half Price Books store to take a couple books there so I can get Breaking Dawn and start reading it NOW. I was so sad when I finished Eclipse because it was over. I could read those books forever...they never have to end. It makes me even sadder to know that after Breaking Dawn...that's it...no more Twilight Saga...how devestating is that?

I am glad that I have no house cleaning to do today. I did it all yesterday, so today as once again been a really lazy day. I just don't know what to do with myself when I don't have the girls here. They are supposed to stay with MawMaw until Friday, but I don't know. I will probably want them back sooner than that. If it wasn't for going to see Eclipse tonight, I would be getting them today, but then I wouldn't have a babysitter for us to go, so I would end up having to go by myself. That would be awkward.

Well, I think I am going to go to Wal-Mart now and Half Price Books then I will go lay out by the pool and maybe go do some exercising in the gym. But, mostly, I just really want a tan. Bye for now.

Remember Me

So, today was very lazy. The girls are with MawMaw, so I got to relax all day. I did clean and do some laundry, so I was productive. Last night, Anthony and I watched Shutter Island. It was so not what I thought it was going to be, but it was still a really good movie. I love Leonardo DiCaprio. He is an amazing actor. I remember the first time I ever saw him in a movie, was What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I really thought that he was mentally challenged. He did such a good job with his role. One of today's best actors.

Today, I took time out to watch a movie that I've been wanting to see since I saw the previews. Remember Me with Robert Pattinson. It was such a wonderful movie. Great love story, bringing family together, sticking close to friends, and not giving up. I cried through the whole movie almost, especially the end. I just couldn't believe how it ended. It boggles my mind and it makes me sad at the same time. I am still in utter shock that they thought it was a good way to end this movie. But, there is nothing I can do about it, except watch it again...and believe me, I will.

We just finished watching Step Brothers, which is an all-time favorite of mine. Anthony is already passed out and I'm missing my girls really bad. I'm miss laying them down for bad and Natalie doing whatever she can to keep herself awake. I miss Miley crying in the middle of the night and crawling into our room for me to hold her. I miss Natalie making her way into our room some time during the night and getting in bed with me. I miss being completely uncomfortable trying to sleep between Miley and Natalie and waking up with my back aching and my shoulders sore. I miss not getting to sleep past 7:30am because Miley is up for the day and ready to go. I miss doing schoolwork with Natalie and then painting afterwards. I miss cuddling up on the couch with Natalie and watching New Moon because she loves Edward. I miss all of that. That's what being a mother is about. It's about doing everything all for your kids. It's no longer about you anymore...only those precious little girls that need me and need their daddy. I love them so much. Like all kids, they can push your buttons and drive insande and leave you at the end of the day wanting to pull your hair out, but they are so special and want you to love them and they love you no matter what. Boy, I think I'm going to cry now. I'm going to bed so I can get some rest and dream about my babies. I love you Natalie and Miley..."Bye-o-Bye, Bye-o-baby-bye...daddy's gone a huntin' to get a little rabbit skin, to wrap his little babies in." Goodnight, girls.

Eclipse Promo Event

OMG, last night was amazing. I had a blast. I am so glad that I went. Shelby and Krysteena came to pick me up. Natalie was sad because she couldn't go, but I needed a mommy's night out. We get to Dallas and we are by the American Airlines Center and we are having the hardest time finding a place to park. All the parking near the AAC was $20-$30 and there was no way we were going to pay that. So we went a little further into downtown and found a Wells Fargo parking lot for $4...awesome!! But, the walk back to AAC, however, was not quite as amazing....it was scorching hot. I sweated a pool on my back, I swear. But, we finally made it and we were still alive. We waited in some long lines to get some free stuff. Altogether, I got every single different kind of movie poster, an eclipse film strip, some buttons, an Eclipse pen, bracelets, and a book mark. We took some awesome pictures, too. There were a couple of cast members there for a meet and greet, but we missed that because we thought it was afterwards, but it was before : (. It was Jodelle Ferland, who plays Bree Tanner, and Tyson Houseman, who plays Quil. I got some okay pictures of them, though. After they left, they showed some exclusive footage of Eclipse and then they showed New Moon out on the big screen. It was great. Around halfway into the movie, I started french braiding Shelby's hair, but it was unsuccessful lol. I was still burning up, even at 11pm...that is redonculous!! After the movie, we packed up our stuff and headed back to the car. That journey was not as bad as it was on the way in. We started driving home, but Shelby went the wrong way, so we had to turn around. Then we had to stop for gas, and as we were leaving, Shelby realized she couldn't find her wallet, so we pulled on the side of the road...freaky....and searched for it, hoping she didn't lose it at the gas station. She didn't. We ended up finding it. They dropped me off around midnight. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to show Anthony what I got. It wasn't really interested lol. Then, I just stayed up until 1:30am reading Eclipse so I can finish it before Tuesday. Almost done!!

Today, MawMaw is picking up Natalie and Miley. What will I do with myself for three days? For starters, after they leave, I am going to take a nap because I am sooo tired. Then, I'm going to go get a tan by the pool and possibly work out. Won't that be fun! I am going to really start working on my goal and try to achieve it by Christmas...I think I can do it.

Well, I'm off...going to go watch New Moon with Natalie since she didn't get to go last night. I promised I would watch it with her. Bye for now.

Bad News

So....I was just informed that Angela cannot come stay with me to go see Eclipse...I'm sad. But, Anthony is going to take her place and go with me, even though he thinks that it is extremely stupid. That really means a lot to me, that he would do something he hates just to make me happy with something I love. I am going to owe him one lol.

Good news, though, is that at American Airlines Center there is this little party thing for the premier of Eclipse and they are going to be showing Twilight and New Moon there. There is going to be a red carpet and some people from Eclipse will be there, as well. I am going to go with my sister and I may take my oldest daughter, but not sure yet. It's from 4pm to midnight...this is going to be a long night, but sooo worth it. I can't wait. Thank you Anthony for watching Miley so I can go do this.

Well, gotta go finish cleaning before my sister gets here...yay!!!
